This involves dedicating the majority of your time to practicing the game to make sure that you constantly improve your own skills. This could be a constant stream of drills, enlisting on a team to play weekly and then analysing your own performance to make sure that you correct any mistakes that you may have made. This should then lead to you improving as a player and becoming more skilled at the game.
The next step to becoming a pro soccer player is to know soccer inside and out. Strategies, teams, methods of training, everything that you could possibly associate with soccer is what you need to know. This'll allow you to look at either professional games or your own performance and know exactly where you went wrong in your games to correct your mistakes in the future.
One of the most important things you need to do is to start practicing early. Unfortunately due to the nature of the game once you pass the age of 30 it's unlikely that any professional team will consider you as a viable part of their team because your body will stop naturally gaining strength and your body won't be able to keep up with the general age of a soccer player.
You need to have a passion for the game from an early age of around 8 or 9 to make sure that when you hit the appropriate age to start competing at a high level which means that you'll have a greater chance of being scouted by a team manager.
If you get scouted it's important that you maintain your performance in the game and your own personal stamina to make sure that you can keep up with the other players, both physically in game and in regards to standards of skill. This'll mean that even after you've been scouted you can continuously play at the highest level which should then lead to you improving, developing further as a player and then start competing at the highest level and getting paid to do so.
